HURRICANE HELENE RESOURCE GUIDE

Hurricane Helene brought significant destruction to North Carolina this past September, affecting many in our community. We are thankful to share that our clinics remained safe and unharmed. However, numerous neighbors are still working hard to recover from the aftermath. In light of this difficult situation, we encourage you to take a look at the resource guide developed by the Cole Health Advocacy Committee. This guide is designed to help find essential services and support available throughout NC.

IMPACT IN OUR CLINICS AND BEYOND

Community outreach is a vital part of our organization’s mission to inspire hope and change lives. As we broaden our initiatives and assess the needs of the communities we support, we are proud to have a dedicated team
committed to assisting others both in and outside of our clinics.

Over the past few months, the spirit of generosity has thrived within our organization, with team members actively engaging in events like the Baytown Special Rodeo in Baytown, TX, Down syndrome Buddy walks in Dallas, TX, and Raleigh, NC, in collaboration with the Down Syndrome Guild of Dallas and the NC Down Syndrome Alliance, and generous food drives with the Emergency Food Network in Lakewood, WA. As we approach the season of giving, our mission remains steadfast. However, our commitment to outreach is not just a seasonal endeavor; it is a year-round dedication to uplifting lives and creating lasting change.

We look forward to continuing our efforts, building new partnerships, and exploring innovative ways to serve our community, ensuring that hope and support are always within reach for those who need it most.

MANAGEMENT REFLECTIONS

As we approach the end of the year, I want to take a moment to recognize all the hard work and dedication that has brought us to this point. For our team, families, and the incredible children we serve, it’s been a year of growth, connection, and resilience. At this time of year, it’s natural to feel the pull of the approaching holiday season and all the excitement it brings. While routines can be challenging to maintain during this busy period, we encourage our families to stay committed to their children’s progress by attending therapy sessions consistently. Maintaining a regular therapy schedule, even through the holidays, is essential in supporting each child’s journey toward their unique goals. Our team is grateful for the trust you place in us, and we look forward to finishing this year strong together. Thank you for your ongoing commitment, and let’s keep the momentum going into the new year!

PATIENT SUCCESS STORIES

*These reviews were unsolicited

PARENT OF COLE PEDIATRIC THERAPY (LAKEWOOD, WA): Every single therapist that has worked with my children have been absolutely amazing. Everyone is so caring and so passionate. I cannot recommend this place enough.”

PARENT OF COLE PEDIATRIC THERAPY (CARY, NC): The clinical staff is extremely knowledgeable, warm & welcoming. If you are looking for therapists who truly care, then Cole Health is the place for your children! 🙂

PARENT OF COLE PEDIATRIC THERAPY (SAN MARCOS, TX): Cole pediatrics has been a God send. All of our therapists have been instrumental in my son’s speech, occupational and physical therapy. [My son] was non-verbal and now he talks so much. He was unable to dress himself or tolerate brushing his hair and now does it himself. He used to fall a lot while running and now he doesn’t skip a beat. I’m so thankful to his therapist and recommend them for your child.”

PARENT OF COLE PEDIATRIC THERAPY (AUSTIN, TX): My son started both speech and physical therapy at Cole when he was 18 months old, and today, 2 years later at 3.5 years old, he finally graduated! We have had nothing but the very best of experiences with Cole…”
